Private Lesson Booking System (Upper Hand):

How to book a private lesson on Upper Hand:

1) Log in to your account (create one if you haven't done so already)

2) Click "Browse Events" or "Purchase"

3) Click "Book" next to Private Lesson

4) Select your name from the drop-down menu, choose an available date and time, and click "add session to cart" (note: we do not offer the option to select a coach)

5) Select "view cart" to complete booking

6) Select "continue to checkout"

7) Fill out any required forms and click "continue to payment"

8) Click "purchase" to complete booking. *Please note that payment will NOT be collected at check out - payment will be due in person, by the end of your lesson, via Venmo or Zelle.

Why can't I select a coach in the system?

We currently do not offer the option to select a coach in the system when booking a lesson. Just select an available date and time and we will work to assign one of our fantastic coaches to your lesson.

How and when will I know which coach will cover my lesson?

After you book a lesson, we’ll work to match you with one of our fantastic coaches. Once a coach has been assigned, they will reach out to you directly (usually by text) to confirm your lesson.

How do I become a member?

A member or "ProMember" refers to an athlete that is on one of our current club teams. If you are on one of our club teams, will you receive the member lesson rate.

How do I book a small group lesson?

Small groups/semi-privates are organized by the parent(s) - ProPlay does not assist with creating or organizing small group lessons.

For example, if your athlete has 2 friends that want to join the lesson, you will book the private lesson the same way (as mentioned above) and pay the per player rate for the 3-1 (depending on member vs non-member).

If booking a semi-private, please only book one 1-hour session (ex: for a 3-1, only one member needs to book the lesson/reserve the court).

When should I arrive?

Please arrive 10 minutes before your lesson.

What should I do if I need to cancel or reschedule my lesson?

If you already have a coach assigned, please communicate with the coach directly.

If you are still waiting for a coach to be assigned to your lesson, you can cancel or reschedule in your Upper Hand account.
